Frequently Asked Questions
We know purchasing products online can seem scary, especially from a business you're not overly familiar with. We've come up with the most commonly asked questions we get here at Ikigai Girl HQ so you can shop with confidence.

Q:
Are you an Australian company?
Through and through.
I was born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia. I completed my Graphic Design degree there, lived there until I was 40 and moved to Sydney a few years ago where I’ve lived with my partner and our dogson.
Q:
Do you create your own designs?
Yes! I am a professionally qualified Graphic Designer and digital artist who loves being surrounded by pink and cuteness. I LOVE combining everything I love into my pieces - pink, lovehearts, animals, Japan, retro and vintage style! I hope you love them as much as I do.

Q:
Can you create a custom design for me?
Absolutely! I’m all about customising a design to suit you and your personality - it’s what I do.
Reach out to me here to request a custom design and I can work with you and support you to receive the custom design of your dreams.
Q:
Can you guarantee delivery for Christmas?
Most items I sell are custom made and all items are made to order, so turn around times for fulfillment and dispatch can vary, depending on our workload and suppliers. The more customised your design is, the longer it may take to complete and ship.
IMPORTANT: The studio will be closed from the 29th of November until the 8th of December 2024 - I'll be in Japan! All orders still in progress at COB 28th November will be delayed by one week. Please reach out to me here BEFORE placing your order if you need it delivered by a particular date.

Q:
What shipping options do you offer?
I've personally had some awful experiences with couriers so I will insist on Australia Post. I also offer local pickup in the Ryde area of Sydney if this will help you with packages for Christmas. Contact me here if this is something you're interested in.
